Community Guidelines
AI Trending Prompts is a community-driven platform built to make discovering, sharing, and using useful AI prompts easier.
People can explore prompts created by other users, copy prompts for their own projects, and submit their own prompts to help grow the library.
These guidelines exist to keep the platform useful, respectful, safe, and easy to explore for everyone.
If you submit content to AI Trending Prompts, you are responsible for making sure your submission follows these guidelines.
1. What you can submit
Users can submit useful and relevant AI prompts that contribute to the prompt library. Examples include:
- AI image-generation prompts
- AI photo-editing prompts
- photography prompts
- portrait prompts
- cinematic prompts
- anime and creative-art prompts
- product photography prompts
- creative and experimental AI prompts
- other legitimate AI prompt content relevant to the platform
Good submissions should provide genuine value to people who want to discover, understand, copy, and use AI prompts.
Please use accurate titles, categories, styles, and tags so other users can find your prompt easily.
2. Submission quality
We want the library to contain prompts that people can actually use. When submitting a prompt:
- Give it a clear and meaningful title.
- Provide the actual prompt rather than placeholder text.
- Choose the most relevant category.
- Use accurate styles and tags.
- Use an appropriate preview image.
- Make sure the preview represents the prompt accurately.
- Avoid repetitive or meaningless submissions.
- Do not intentionally manipulate titles, tags, or categories to gain visibility.
Low-quality, misleading, duplicated, or spam submissions may be rejected.
3. What you cannot submit
Do not submit content that violates these guidelines or is clearly harmful to the community. This includes:
- illegal content or content intended to facilitate illegal activity
- threats or encouragement of violence
- harassment or targeted abuse
- hateful or discriminatory content
- sexual exploitation
- sexual content involving minors
- non-consensual sexual content
- malicious or harmful content
- spam or intentionally misleading submissions
- personal or private information belonging to other people
- malicious links or harmful files
- content submitted with the intention of abusing or manipulating the platform
- content that you do not have the right to share
Content may also be rejected when it does not meaningfully contribute to the prompt library.
4. Adult / 18+ content
Some prompts may be classified as Adult / 18+ content.
Adult prompts must be appropriately labelled and placed in the designated age-restricted category.
Prompts in the Adult / 18+ category remain hidden until a viewer confirms their age through the platform's existing age gate.
Age-restricted content must never be used as a reason to bypass the platform's other content rules.
Most importantly:
Explicit preview imagery is not permitted anywhere in the library.
An Adult / 18+ prompt being age-restricted does not mean that explicit imagery is allowed on its prompt card, preview, or other public library surfaces.
5. Preview image rules
Preview images are an important part of how people discover prompts. Preview images should:
- accurately represent the prompt
- be appropriate for the library
- not contain explicit imagery
- not contain illegal or exploitative material
- not contain private information
- not intentionally mislead users about the prompt
Explicit preview imagery is not permitted anywhere in the library, including age-restricted prompt previews.
If a preview image violates these rules, the submission may be rejected or removed.
6. Moderation
Submitted prompts are subject to moderation before they become publicly available.
The general process is:
- Submission
- Review
- Approval or rejection
- Publication when approved
A submission may be rejected when it violates these Community Guidelines, does not meet the platform's content requirements, or does not provide meaningful value to the library.
Approved content may also be reviewed again later.
If content is later found to violate these guidelines, it may be removed or otherwise moderated.
We do not guarantee a specific review time.
7. Reporting content
If you find a prompt that you believe violates these Community Guidelines, you can report it through the available reporting mechanism.
Reports are reviewed and appropriate action may be taken based on the circumstances. Possible outcomes include:
- no action when the content does not violate the guidelines
- correction or removal of problematic content
- rejection of a submission
- other moderation action appropriate to the situation
Submitting a report does not automatically mean that content will be removed.
Reports should be made in good faith and should not be used to target creators or misuse the moderation system.
8. Creator responsibility
Creators are responsible for the prompts and supporting content they submit. Before submitting something, make sure:
- you have the right to share the content
- you are not exposing someone else's private information
- the submission is accurately described
- the category and tags are appropriate
- the preview image follows the platform's rules
- the content follows these Community Guidelines
Do not use AI Trending Prompts to intentionally distribute content that violates another person's rights or privacy.
9. Keeping the library useful
AI Trending Prompts is designed around discovery. That means the quality of the library matters. Avoid submitting:
- repeated copies of the same prompt
- meaningless variations created only to fill the library
- misleading titles
- irrelevant tags
- fake or misleading descriptions
- submissions designed only to manipulate popularity or search visibility
The goal is not to have the largest possible number of prompts.
The goal is to make it easier for people to find prompts that are actually useful.
10. Ongoing moderation
Publishing a prompt does not guarantee that it will remain available permanently.
As the platform grows, content may be reviewed again when it is reported, flagged, or otherwise identified as potentially violating these guidelines.
We may also update these Community Guidelines as the community and platform evolve.
When the guidelines change, the updated version will be published on this page.
11. Help keep the community useful
AI Trending Prompts works best when creators contribute useful prompts, label their content accurately, and respect other members of the community.
If you are unsure whether something belongs in the library, consider whether it is:
- useful
- relevant
- accurately labelled
- appropriate for its intended audience
- respectful of other people and their rights
